Lydia's Advice to Young Wives: Your Husband's Need for Support
Ask a group of women what the hardest role in marriage is; they would probably say that being submissive is the most difficult. What we as wives need to know is that the corresponding role of leadership in the home is not an easy task for husbands.
Lydia's Advice to Young Wives: Meeting your Husband's Emotional Needs
Often when women are chatting our conversations turn to the topic of men. Eventually we will look at each other, shake our heads and say, “MEN?!” Yes, they are a mystery to us. Thus, we see the multitude of books that have been written throughout the years such as Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus or Why Men Don’t Listen and Women Can’t Read Maps. Dear Lydia, Need Better Boundaries at Work
Dear
I have a male co-worker who is going through a divorce. Before this, my husband and I were trying to reach out to him and his wife as a couple. He has recently started coming out to Bible Talk and church functions alone, and I am hoping he will start studying the Bible.
Dear Lydia, Not prepared for marriage
Dear
I'm so grateful for this opportunity to find guidance.
I'm a newly married and recently restored disciple. My husband was baptized on Mother's Day of this year. Praise God!
I'm desperate for guidance in the areas of being a wife and a stepmother. I've never had a desire to have children or be married.
Dear Lydia, Facebook for Teens?
Dear
My daughter will start high school in August. She is not a disciple but is a good kid. Since school is out for the summer, she is begging to join Facebook, a social networking thing on the Internet, to stay in touch with her school friends. Should I let her? I am scared of predators and all the things I hear about that can happen with young girls via the Internet.

Woman of Ignoble Character
Dear Sisters,
I recently celebrated my 37th wedding anniversary by revisiting one of my favorite scriptures that details the attributes and behavior of the Wife of Noble Character. I think all Christian women should refer to this passage often and strive to be like this woman as we all are collectively the “bride of Christ”.
Dear Lydia, Help us be spiritual mothers
Dear
Seems to me that the sisters would like more help on being a spiritual moms. Many have a fear of failing or have regret by past life mistakes. There is guilt over impatience. I know it’s prayer and dependency on God. How about some practicals?
Please help,
Caring in
