Karachi Mission Team Hits the Ground Running! Karachi, Pakistan
Karachi was the largest city in the world where we had not planted a church until a few weeks ago. On April 20, 2014 a mission team made up of disciples from our other congregations in Pakistan landed in Karachi.

Sherry Phillips was the facility director at the very first facility we booked for the newly-planted Casco Bay Church of Christ in 2010. It was a great facility and we loved the space, but every Sunday the media center was locked, and only Sherry could unlock it. We ended up having to call Sherry almost every Sunday morning to resolve this problem.
Milan ICOC Appoints First Elder Couples
A few weeks ago, high in the Italian Alps, the Chiesa di Christo di Milano came together for their annual church retreat. Every year is special, but this year marked a monumental moment for the church as two elders were appointed! My wife and I were blessed to be able to witness and take part in the appointment, as we prepare to move to Milan in a few weeks time to serve the church as the evangelist and women's ministry leader. As we listened to Wyndham Shaw and Joe Silipo give their charge, tears came to our eyes. Marco and Christine Fortina and Fabio and Daniella Birondi were the first elder couples to be appointed in our congregations in Western Europe!
Caribbean Missions Update: Grenada April 2014
It has been an exciting first quarter for the St. George’s International Church of Christ in Grenada! Having re-launched our ministry in August last year, to God’s glory we grew in 2013 from 10 to 12 disciples as we focused on unity and teamwork.

This is an article I should have written long ago. But I kept putting it off, assuming that the special blessing in our family would continue indefinitely. What is that blessing, you ask? Well, up until my husband’s grandmother passed away last Saturday, there were four generations of disciples in our family.

Rwanda Update Part II: Gitarama ICOC
A small house church resides in the poverty sticken village of Gitarama, Rwanda, where most people eat one meal a day (if that much) and where most have never even slept on a mattress. Attending church is also difficult, as the journey takes four hours round-trip. However, amidst all these challenges, their love for God is outstanding and in the last year the disciples saw many blessings (see Part I).
