First Baptism After Many Years in Athens, Greece

Dear friends in the Lord,

I'm excited to announce the good news that today, the day of Theophany/Epiphany in Greece, my dear friend and neighbor Spiros Koulos has been baptized in the cold Mediterranean sea, in a day of snow, but also of sun and joy! We celebrate with all of you who have us in your hearts and prayers, along with the legions of angels who rejoice for the one lost soul that was found!

Women's Bible Talk Reaches Out Through Meetup.com

Editor's note: The following story is in response to this article, which asked the question, "How can you use the internet to find people seeking God?" Send in your stories to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

We have been posting our women's Bible study on the North Shore Women's group on Meetup.com for about eight months and we are routinely seeing six to seven for visitors every Bible Talk. No one has become a Christian from that effort yet but we are and have studied the Bible with several people who have come through meetup. We host a simple crock-pot meal before the study every time to make it easier for people to get there after work without getting sidetracked and enjoy great fellowship. Most of the visitors show up for the meal!

Tokyo Church of Christ Celebrates 25th Anniversary

On the weekend of August 22-24, 2014 the Tokyo Church of Christ celebrated its 25th anniversary. Over 400 disciples gathered from all over Japan and the world for this event. Our main speakers were Frank and Erica Kim from Denver, who powerfully led the church for 15 years, along with Rob and Pam Skinner from Tucson, who served in the ministry in Japan for 10 years. Steve Shoff from Boston, who was part of the original mission team in the late 80’s and led the church for a year in 2003, also joined us. It was a heart-warming and inspirational reunion for all of us.

Invitation to Nairobi Church's 25th Anniversary

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy” -- Psalm 126:3

Twenty five years ago, when 11 disciples stepped off the plane in Nairobi in June 1989, they had nothing on their hearts but selfless, sacrificial, Spirit-spurred and seed-scattering service that would spawn the salvation of souls as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sands on the seashore. The team of 11 disciples set the history of East Africa on a spiritual revolutionary course. Little did they know then of all the tremendous plans that God had for the church.

Chinese Underground Church #2 Celebrates 20th Anniversary

In the mid-90s, one of the mission teams in China (UC-2) was abruptly deported by the police. The seeds of the gospel that were planted in the young disciples left behind continue to grow into a strong and fruitful tree. The 125 committed disciples in the church are grateful for their salvation and God’s grace through these sacrificial and bold mission team members, led by KC and Margaret Chan, who were willing to fulfill a calling for the lost in the city. As UC-2 celebrated their 20th anniversary on December 1, 2014, 12 members of the original mission team from Hong Kong were invited back to their ‘Land of Dreams’ to celebrate together. This is one of the many stories of miracles shared:
