Virginia and Detroit Singles Team Up to See New Brother Added
In February 2015, four sisters from the Detroit Church of Christ attended the “Heart of a Champion” singles retreat in Charlottesville, Virginia. At the retreat, they met two brothers, Jason Jones and Reggie Kitchens, from the Hampton Roads Church of Christ. As they began to discuss their respective singles' ministry, it became apparent there was a need for single men in the Detroit Church of Christ. Jason and Reggie decided they would visit Detroit the week of July 4th for a mini-mission trip to evangelize the area in hopes of finding open men. When the brothers returned to Virginia, they enlisted the help of three sisters to join the trip: Andrea Lymboris, Alexandria Harris, and Yvette Blai.

Ufa Disciples Make Impact in Home for Elderly

Some of them are not healthy physically, some of them are not healthy mentally. But we have a lot of friends there now. And we try to make their last days a little better. Sometimes we show them old movies, sometimes we organize Bible talks, sometimes we just talk one on one about their lives, health and so on.

God's Ways are Mysterious: Baptism in Perm, Russia
People in different ways come to God. Some believe in God from childhood, some gain confidence thanks to different events throughout their lives, sometimes tragic. Here it is a story that happened in Perm. On June 28, 2015 we baptized Alyona, the younger sister of our sister Anna. A little over a year ago Alyona arrived in Perm to be with her sister after a tragic situation of losing a loved one. She was left alone with two children, without shelter and work. Alyona was having a very challenging time, constantly crying and did not want to live.
