Its time to give to Missions again! We are each feeling the seismic shift in the global economy. Before we decide in our own heart what to give, perhpas we should check out the situation in the countries we send our missions money to. For example, in the Ukraine, their money is worth 35% less now that it was January 1.
Missions has been a key part of the DNA of the International Churches of Christ throughout our short history. During the next few months most of our first world churches will collect their Missions Contributions. So far many of the churches we have heard of are standing strong in terms of their missions goals in spite of the current global economic distress.
