Hoops for Hope 2010
Hoops for Hope is a fundraising event in which participants play a game of basketball every hour for 12-24 hours to raise money and awareness for the Sihanouk Hospital Center of HOPE in Cambodia.
Each participant hopes to raise $1,000 for SHCH.

A Note to Our Supporting Churches
As the snow fell on Athens, Georgia Friday night, thousands of disciples from across the southeast braved the weather to witness the book of Acts come alive during a weekend that was truly led by the Spirit. Those of us with HOPE worldwide who made the 13-hour drive from Philadelphia to Athens were encouraged and inspired by the hearts of these disciples and their overwhelming interest in serving the poor.
Haiti Update: The Slow Process of Healing Begins

Below is an update from HOPE worldwide CEO Randy Jordan, based on his communication with Dr. Mark Ottenweller on the ground in Port-au-Prince Monday morning.
Dr. Ottenweller and Stanley Dumornay returned to Port-au-Prince on Friday to continue HOPE worldwide's relief efforts in Haiti.

Haiti Video of First HOPE worldwide Response Team
Immediately following the disastrous 7.0 earthquake in Haiti, the Port-au-Prince Church of Christ and HOPE Haiti began to serve those around them. Even while church members were looking for their own families and other members, 50 people from the community were welcomed to stay on the church property with about 60 disciples of the 300 member church.
Within days, the first HOPE worldwide response team was on the scene with food, water, medicine, hugs and prayers. ICOC Hot News released this touching video of that first visit. Last week three souls were baptized there!
Video Report from First HOPE worldwide Relief Team to Haiti
HOPE worldwide's first releif team arrived in Port-au-Prince only five days after the devastating earthquake that resulted in 200,000 deaths and 2 million homeless. Because of the support of the International Churches of Christ through the years, HOPE worldwide was already present through HOPE Haiti.
Our partner ICOC Hot News released this moving video of what that first relief team saw as they brought food and medical supplies to the 60 disciples and 50 friends camped out on the property of the Port-au-Prince Church of Christ.

Report from First HOPEww Trip to Haiti
Last Sunday the first outside HOPE worldwide team arrived in Port-au-Prince. Dr. Mark Ottenweller of HOPE worldwide, Stanley Dumornay, New York City evangelist and Wagner Mendez of the Santo Domingo Church brought water, food, medical supplies and the love of Christians from around the world.
