Health and Social Care Professionals Invited to 2013 Health Corps
If you’re a health and social care professional, you won’t want to miss the 2013 HOPE worldwide Health Corps themed “Steps of Compassion”: May 3-5 in Reston, Virginia (just outside of Washington, D.C.). We anticipate more than 100 physicians, nurses, dentists, social workers, hospital administrators, physical therapists, chiropractors and other healthcare professionals to be in attendance. This event promises to be a great time of learning, sharing and fellowship.

Most of our stories are about the changed lives of the poor we serve; rarely do we talk how working with the poor has permanently changed our lives.
Changed Lives in Abidjan and Beyond
February 4, 2013 – HOPE worldwide Ivory Coast is making great progress in helping disciples of the Abidjan Church of Christ rebuild their lives and livelihoods following the 2011 civil war. During that conflict, 3,000 were killed and hundreds of disciples suddenly lost their jobs. Since then, Hww Ivory Coast provided startup funding for 150 small businesses that employ 254 disciples.

National Youth Advisory Council Inducts New Members for 2nd Term
January 2013 marked the beginning of the second term of the HOPE worldwide National Youth Advisory Council (NYAC). Comprised of high school and college students, the NYAC is committed to providing vision, counsel and creative solutions as service leaders to engage their peers in service to the poor through HOPE worldwide programs.
