In the biggest university complex in one of China’s largest cities, God keeps opening doors for the gospel. We’re calling, like the Macedonian in Paul’s vision, for adventurous disciples to “come over and help us!”
Two universities here in one of the biggest educational complexes in China are looking for English teachers.
They will provide a salary and an apartment right in the heart of the campus! You would be working and living in the midst of tens of thousands of students.
Recently I met with a graduate student who had questions about Christianity. He said, “I asked the foreign English teacher from my university, but he told me he wasn’t a Christian and could help me.”
These Chinese universities will fill the two open positions with someone, most likely someone from the U.S. Who will it be? A disciple of Jesus who will share the good news with students? Or someone who is only here to further his career or—even worse—to spread false teaching? (I know of one teacher who “evangelizes” for a bizarre sect that teaches “gods” visited the earth in UFOs and directly encourages immorality!)
We’re praying that these two positions will be filled by disciples—not by someone who will hinder the gospel.
