Written by  Helen Nanjundan, London, UK Monday, 09 July 2012 10:19

Julia Linnus was baptised in the church in Estonia more than fifteen years ago. She moved to London eight years ago to find work, and to do well financially. She did not realise how broken the London Church was. She kept coming but could not find, friendship,a sense of belonging, love or peace.

The disciples in the church were trying hard to restore their faith and trust in God and in people. When I moved to the West sector three year ago I started studying with Julia. She struggled to get her heart back in love with God and with people. We did not give up studying and looking deeper into the word of God to find secuirty in God and for her to repent of anger, bitterness, faithflessness among other weaknesses.
In the meanwhile she was in contact with a couple who were baptised in the church in Armenia but left to come to London for a better life. They did not attend church for a long time. She brought them to Church in 2009 a few months after we arrived in London. Mohan and I started studying with Asen and Karina Zakaryan. They were restored in December 2009. The love and faith of the parents had an amazing impact on their two children, Zoro a student and Elen a teen who happened to be my daughter, Priya's classmate. Priya, the only baptised teen in West london started building a relationship with Elen and was involved in studying the bible with her. The brothers started studying with Zoro. The next couple of months Zoro was baptised followed by Elen. Then Zoro brought his ex girlfriend Katya , a Russian student. She made Jesus Lord and was baptised soon after.
In the meanwhile Julia continued to fight to have faith and love for God and for her new spiritual family in West London. The Zakaryan family continued to reach out to Julia , showed her the love of Jesus. and helped to study with her. I continued to study with Julia. After three years , Julia finally made the decision to get restored a few weeks ago.To God be the glory. Her spiritual family rejoiced with her.
